So far, this week, I’ve visited two locations I’m going to do extended reviews on and added one business to Google Maps. First, was Self Storage in Mattawamkeag. They are a relatively new operation and didn’t as yet have a google presence. Now they do.
Second, I had lunch at Raymond’s Variety & Diner in Lee. It was a pretty good meal and decent experience. I’m going to try it a few more time before the big reviews. I hear the breakfasts are quite good. Lastly, we braved ice-covered camp road and checked out Madagascal Pond where my family has had a camp since before I was born (I think.) The past winter, a huge tree fell and crushed the family camp. It is being rebuilt and we went in the check things out. The lake frozen solid but was still creaking and cracking, was beautiful. By summer, I hope to do a extended review of the Pond and my memories of the summers I spent there. Thanks for reading!

Well, the Holidays have once again snuck up on us in spite all the warnings like Black Friday, Cyber Monday and Office Party Hangover Wednesday…. 0 shopping days are now left.
Three reviews I’ve been working on… Varnum’s Glass from Verona Island. We had some windows replaced by them and was very impressed with their service. I’m kinda excited this review because I’m going to include some before and after shots of the windows. I’ve eaten at Mason's Brewing Company in Brewer several times since they opened. Gone twice recently and will one more time before I finish their review which will be featured main website. Good food, great drinks and fantastic atmosphere. Finally, I’ve been riding by Mid-Coast Fine Antiques-Maine for a couple years now, but never can time it right to stop when they are open. So I’m still working on their review. Did see a cool antique truck outside which made for a pretty decent picture. Thanks for Reading and I hope you all enjoy your holidays (however you celebrate it) and have a Happy New Year!
I added a number of local businesses to Google Maps this week-end. Also got enough video/pictures/information to do a full review on Island Rise and Shine in Verona. Working on that now and will publish on the Main site when finished. I know I’ve said this before but I can’t stress it enough, if you own a business and you are not on Google Maps, you are really missing the boat. It can be a scam, so don’t pay a company to do your listing and maintain it for you. It is really simple, if you can’t figure it out, email me @ everex224@gmail.com and I will help you through the initial process. No charge. I can’t maintain it for you, but I can at least get you started. Here’s a couple that I added this week-end: Toddy Pond Stor-all and Fort View Variety .
I just love doing it and I consider it part of the process of building this website into a business. Thanks for reading and come back soon! |
