Sooo…. I had originally started this blog to discuss my theories of copyright law and to be an on-line companion to my own book I was writing about the criminal copyright case against me. However, new developments like, um, I have to report to prison in 3 months for a 5 year sentence and the fact I’m not allowed ,under enhanced bail conditions, to sell anything on-line has kind of put the kibosh on publishing a new kindle book right away. (Update: May, 2021)
What I have decided to do is explain all of the backstory of my case and all relative factors (the factors I can disclose anyway, and that’s gonna be a bit tricky). I am still going to publish the book when I get legally cleared to do so. I’ve always been more of a beg-forgiveness instead of ask-permission type person. (No Shit, right?) But I’m tryin, Ringo, I’m trying REAL Hard. Which brings me to the last factor of this post: There are still slices of details in the undercurrent story behind my copyright conviction that are unknown to me. But what I want to do in this blog is to tell you the details as I have lived them and while they may not make sense now, they will in the future as other aspects of the undercurrent story are revealed. I don’t even know if that makes any sense, but that's the great part about blogs. They can always be edited and rewritten. Sometimes months or even years later, and as a messy, disconnected writer myself, I love that. I feel some writings or stories are never really done and they could be one edit from being a masterpiece. Lol. Kidding. I'm not that Narcissistic What I am trying to say is, the copyright and mail fraud case against me has NEVER really been about Copyright or Mail Fraud! I’m going to tell that story as I see it and include names of people that have been provenly involved, or convicted in the real case but hint at other people that have not been proven or convicted. They may even be indicted, but the indictment is sealed (sealed indictments are an interesting legal concept). But I will do my best to protect the innocent, just warning ya. For lack of a better name, I'm calling that real case the Walmart Theft Ring. I hope that will make more sense as the story unfolds.... Next Time: CopyWronged: Episode I The Sentencing (Yeah, there will be a lot of Star Wars references and innuendo) Big Shocker!

Sounds very interesting and will follow you if I can figure out how to find your blog. I worked in Bangor for many years after retiring from the Navy. Five years seems a lot for copywrite infringement.
