After having a so-so burger last night at a local place that will remain unnamed for this review. A sign outside of the BeachFire Bar & Grille which summoned me by saying “Burgers half-off” 11:00 to 3:00 pm was just the ticket to get us inside. As we approached, the front of the tavern-like grille, we noticed a cool fire pit all aflame in the empty outdoor seating area. Already, I’m starting to dig this place. It's middle of February in Maine and you could actually eat or drink or both ....outside!
Inside the place was packed and we had to sit at one of high tables, but it was OK.
Without hesitation, I am giving Beachfire five burning stars, here’s some reasons why:
I plan on returning to the area soon and trying more items from their menu. Would highly recommend the BeachFire Bar & Grille at any time of the year. Located right on main street in Ogunquit. It was great eating experience and seems like a fun place year-round.

Without hesitation, I am giving Beachfire five burning stars, here’s some reasons why:
- Like I said the place was crowded, in the beach town in Maine at the peak of winter. I can’t imagine how jammin’ Beachfire is in the middle of July. Maybe it was the half-off burgers or maybe it was because it was pretty decent day. A balmy 29 degrees outside, but by the time we left there were people sitting around the fire pit drinking.
- The wait staff was pretty awesome, took our order, answered my excessive questions with a smile. I was a little nervous, because as we arrived a woman next to us was sending back a calzone because it was too cold. But they handled it well.
- My lunch companion had well done beachfire burger, she complained that it was burnt. That was the only possible ding, and I’m letting it slide (Probably cause it wasn’t mine, LOL) I ordered a small order of the smoked wings with hot coating, wasn’t real hot but was quite tasty as was the piggy burger I had. Basically it was a hamburger coated with BBQ pulled pork. Messy, but delicious.
